Monday, November 30, 2020  – Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader, Raila Odinga, has said there is no more time to engage Kenyans on the proposed constitutional amendments under the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI). Speaking in Mombasa on Sunday, Raila said those with contrary views were within their democratic right to do so. He spoke aboard the Tamarind dhow when he engaged leaders from the Majlis Ulama and Kenya Muslim National Advisory Council (Kemnac), who presented their memorandum on the BBI. “As things stand, there is no room to accommodate fresh views on BBI.  “The Constitution is a living document. The gaps identified will be filled through amendments over time. This is the first amendment to the 2010 Constitution. Even the best constitution in the world has been amended many times,” he said. Monday, November 30, 2020  – Deputy President William Ruto has convened a crisis meeting at his Karen home after he snubbed President Uhuru Kenyatta’s events twice in one week. The DP is reported to have summoned 150 of his closest allies to a meeting scheduled for Wednesday, December 2, with the aim of finding a common stand on matters Building Bridges Initiative. The move comes after it was revealed that some of his allies were open to a consensus regarding the BBI, while another faction was totally opposed to the controversial document. The development comes a day after the DP snubbed President Uhuru Kenyatta’s events twice in the span of one week. Monday, November 30, 2020  – Gatundu South MP, Moses Kuria, has said he is ready to support Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report if the proposal on the nomination of women MPs and the additional MPs is removed. Commenting on his Facebook page on Sunday, Kuria called on Kenyans to join him in demanding for the amendment, stating that Kenyans cannot afford it because the economy is on its death bed. The MP mentioned that the BBI as is, Kenyans will have to choose between putting food on their tables, or paying hefty salaries and buying big cars for the 640 Members of Parliament. “ Unless the BBI Constitution Amendment Bill is revised to remove creation of a 640 Member parliament- including nomination of 180 women MPs- me and my house will vote NO.  I urge all my friends and supporters to do the same. Monday, November 30, 2020 –  A section of MPs allied to Deputy President William Ruto have thrown their weight behind the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) document that was launched last week in Nairobi. The change of heart by the politicians came just hours after Ruto took to social media to highlight major wins for his camp in the proposed amendments. Nakuru Town East MP, David Gikaria, Martha Wangari (Gilgil), Njoro’s Charity Kathambi and Kimani Kuria of Molo, were among the leaders who attended the signature collection launch in Nakuru town, an event presided over by Governor Lee Kinyanjui and Rift Valley Regional Commissioner George Natembeya. According to a popular killer cop, the gang is behind violent robbery incidences in Nakuru. The ring leader of the gang is a no-nonsense guy called Allan alias  Macho , who kills easily when provoked. The second in command is Rogers alias  Madawa .  Rogers is alleged to have killed a crippled boy at the Kivumbini area recently. Monday, November 30, 2020  – Kakamega Senator, Cleophas Malala, has urged Deputy President William Ruto, to shelve his 2022 presidential ambitions because he cannot win the election. Sunday, November 29, 2020  – Nakuru West MP, Samuel Arama, was involved in a daylight drama after an unidentified lady confronted him and accused him of hatching plans to grab their family property. A video shared online shows the lady confronting the Member of Parliament, who looked cornered, and questioning him why he wants to grab her father’s property. The lady is heard saying that Arama is intimidating police using his powerful position. As the confrontation continued, the shameless MP accused the lady of lacking respect and slapped her before grabbing the phone that she was using to record him. The incident took place on September 8th in one of the clubs in Nyali. Before the suspect deactivated her Facebook account, we came across this photo where she is seen enjoying a bottle of Jack Daniels with friends, weeks after drugging the victim and stealing Ksh 1.7 Million from his bank account. Sunday, November 29, 2020  – Detectives have arrested a lady who drugged a man at a club in Nyali on 8th September and emptied his bank account. The suspect, who is identified as Beatrice Mueni Mbiu, was captured on CCTV drugging the man together with two other suspects who are on the run. She is alleged to have transferred Ksh 1.7 Million from the man’s bank account after committing the heinous act. The victim positively identified the 24-year-old suspect, leading to her arrest.  “A woman who spiked her victim’s drink at a Club in Nyali and thereafter stole his phone and transferred Ksh 1.7 Million from his bank account has been arrested by detectives based at Nyali. The suspect was captured on camera,” DCI tweeted. “On the fateful day, together with her two accomplices have been on the run since the incident was reported on 8th September. Beatrice Mueni Mbiu, aged 24 years, was positively identified by the victim. She will be arraigned next week as the search for the other two
