Lawyers AHMEDNASIR ABDULLAHI and DONALD KIPKORIR become the first Kenyans to be inoculated with SPUTNIK V vaccine (PHOTOS)

Tuesday, March 30, 2021 – Nairobi-based lawyers Ahmednasir Abdullahi and Donald Kipkorir have become the first Kenyans to be inoculated with Russia’s Sputnik V Covid -19 vaccine.

Sputnik V vaccine which is yet to get the approval of the Ministry of Health is available in Cottage Hospital in Nanyuki and some private clinics in Nairobi.

According to a report by Lancet, Sputnik V, which has an efficacy rate of 91 percent, is better than the Astra Zeneca vaccine which has an efficacy rate of 73 percent.

Lancet also says Sputnik V, which is manufactured by Gamaleya Institute, has fewer side effects than AstraZeneca which has multiple side effects including blood clots.

RAILA ODINGA rushed back to Nairobi Hospital days after he was allowed to go back home after Covid-19 treatment – What is happening?

Friday, March 19, 2021  – Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga returned to the Nairobi Hospital a few days after being discharged and directed to isolate at home.  According to inside sources, Raila checked in at the hospital on Thursday, March 18 after scheduling an appointment with his doctors.  “His doctors wanted to see him.” “He was attended to and allowed to go home and continue with the self-isolation,” said the source. This is after the Controller of Budget (COB) Margaret Nyakang’o wrote a letter to the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) CEO Anne Gitau and sought to stop the implementation of the car grant before a few fundamental issues were resolved.
